NHS Digital required support with the implementation of a big data program and GP Practice patient experience project. The project had been start-stop for a number of years due to technological and political constraints. Progress had been made in this area and a solution was required to deliver the big data programme to various customers.
To accomplish this, Our team engaged with customers and senior internal stakeholders to gather requirements and build complex end-to-end process maps. This allowed them to gain a clear understanding of the project scope and develop a roadmap for delivering the required data pipelines and pseudonymised data.
Our involvement supported the wider project team within NHS Digital. We adapted and flexed to the constant changes within the project and provided various solutions for analysis.
Overall, the project was a success, with the team delivering the required pipelines and pseudonymised data, overcoming various challenges along the way. The project has helped improve patient experience within GP Practices by providing critical insights into patient behaviour and trends. It has also provided valuable insights into how big data can be used to drive meaningful change within the healthcare sector.
